Taylor Swift isn’t moving to London so she can live near boyfriend Joe Alwyn, despite a fabricated new tabloid report. Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and we’ve exclusively discovered the truth.

An article in the latest issue of OK! says the singer has been flying back and forth between the U.S. and U.K. to visit her actor boyfriend, but the constant traveling is now starting to take its toll. As a result, a supposed “source” tells the magazine, Swift wants to permanently relocate to London. “Taylor not only fell in love with Joe, she fell in love with the city,” says the outlet’s dubious insider.

The “source” continues, “She’s able to fly under the radar there in a way she can’t in America, and staying out of the spotlight has really helped their love blossom.” The publication’s seemingly phony insider further claims Swift’s family isn’t upset about her leaving them behind in Nashville because they’re “so thrilled that Taylor’s in love again.”

But Gossip Cop looked into the magazine’s story, and a mutual pal of ours and Swift exclusively assures us the singer is simply “not looking at properties in the U.K.” Of course, we’ve repeatedly had to debunk the tabloids’ fake news about the pop star, so this latest fabrication doesn’t come as a big surprise.

Gossip Cop recently busted OK!’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, for falsely claiming Swift leaked her romance with Alwyn to the press to stir up publicity. We also called out OK! for wrongly reporting Swift was taking off her clothes for an upcoming film role. There was no truth to either of those stories, and this latest one is equally bogus.
