A new report claims Brad Pitt is “heartbroken” over Angelina Jolie ruining his Father’s Day plans, but the story is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.
As Gossip Cop reported, HollywoodLife claimed last week to have all the “exclusive details” about Pitt’s Father’s Day plans with his six kids. The site wrongly reported that the actor was planning an “epic paintball war and a skateboarding competition on their big ramp in the backyard,” before ending the festivities by “having the kids help out BBQing for dinner.” Gossip Cop immediately busted this story, and naturally, no such Father’s Day celebration occurred.
Instead, the estranged spouses’ six kids spent time at the actor’s house on Saturday before flying to Ethiopia with their mom. As we noted, this clearly exposed HollywoodLife’s Father’s Day story about Pitt as fake news. But the webloid is now trying to cover up its lies by alleging the actor had expected to be with the children for the holiday, and then Jolie abruptly took them out of the country. A supposed “source” tells the site, “He had planned to spend some time with them for Father’s Day. He was even working on his place to make it special for them, adding a new skateboard ramp.” The repeatedly discredited site goes on to say Pitt’s “dreams were crushed” by his estranged wife when she whisked the kids away.
HollywoodLife, however, never had any insight into Pitt’s Father’s Day plans, and now that the site’s initial article has been proven wrong, it’s trying to weasel its way out of the lie by claiming the nonexistent plans were “ruined.” But Gossip Cop is assured by an actual source that Jolie didn’t take the kids out of the country without warning. We’ve also repeatedly been told that no one in Pitt or Jolie’s inner circle is speaking to the outlet, and the site has once again been caught circulating fake news about the estranged couple.
